Corpus Christi Sports Club (CCSC) members participated in Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories of the tournament hosted by the SA Northwest Badminton Club on 10th September. It was indeed a great experience and a fun event. SA Northwest Badminton club did an awesome job by hosting the tournament in a grand manor at the Mission Academy courts in San Antonio. The location was pristine with 6 courts available to play matches simultaneously. All the participants from CCSC made it to the quarterfinals matches of the tournament. One of the Men’s Doubles team – Tarun/Karthick, made it to the Semifinals of the Group A category. Sarojini/Karthick, one of the Mixed Doubles participants were the runners up in the Group B category.
Kudos to all the participants! Its always a great experience for the players when they participate in out-of-city tournaments.
