CCSC in collaboration with Valero hosted the second Corpus Christi Badminton Open on Saturday, 28th October 2023. It was enthralling to see overwhelming participation from badminton clubs from Kingsville, Corpus Christi, Houston, San Antonio and Austin. The tournament was held at Texas A&M University – Dugan Wellness Center. The university offered state of the art court facilities and scrumptious food at their dinning hall. Thanks to the tournament committee for organizing an exceptional tournament. Vice President and General Manager of Valero Corpus Christi Kyle Sharon and Public Affairs Manager Darcy Schroeder graced the occasion with their presence and addressed the players and volunteers during lunch break. The proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Coastal Bend India Association to support Summer College Scholarships for 2024. The club would like to thank all participants and look forward to the next year’s tournament.
